Hey GTRONIC, really cool you found some time for sending us pictures of your studio and having a little interview with us.
When did you start DJing and producing? “DJ since 2005 and producing since 2007.”
Allright, so you’ve built your carreer as a producer in the last 5 years. Wow, that’s really fast. What style can we expect by thinking of GTRONIC music? “I’m producing some dark, trashy bassline on a 4-4 beat. I could also call it Heavy Bass Trash.”
Can you name some artists, you already worked with? “Steve Aoki, Tai, Mustard Pimp, Lektroluv, Cyberpunkers, The Bloody Beetroots, and more.”
Do you have a record collection? “I sold my records. I only have a small collection of own released vinyls”.
Of course, most of our readers want to know what kind of gear you use in your studio. Can you name a few of your babies? “I use Yamaha HS80’s, Focals 65, Pro One, Korg MS-20, Roland Gaia, UBK Fatso, Distressor pair, Elysia Xpressor, Shure sm58, Fireface 800, etc. “
What is your personal highlight in the studio? “Uhhmm, I guess that would be that crazy promo flyer from Busan, South-Korea.”
And finally, your all time favourite record? “Bolz Bolz – Take A Walk”
